What is FarmChainDAO?

A DAO on the Solana network that buys land, builds vertical farms in Portugal and splits the harvest profit with the people who funded it. It is not a loan to a grower or a token for someone else's farm: the DAO owns the land and runs production with its own team.

What does the Genesis Pass give me?

Accepted Answer

A 1/1,000 share of the land and base infrastructure, 10% of the net profit from every harvest split across the 1,000 passes, one vote per pass, and priority with a 10% discount on every production cycle. The first 350 passes also get the Seed Lot bonuses.

Where does my money go?

Accepted Answer

The Seed Lot pays for the 7.46-hectare land, under a purchase-intent contract for €85,000, and the start of the base infrastructure: power, water and the first structure. The detailed budget is published in the whitepaper before the lot closes.

Is the yield guaranteed?

Accepted Answer

No. What you receive depends on real harvests and real sale prices. Farming carries weather, pest and market risk. What the DAO guarantees is the method: every harvest publishes its sales invoice, and distribution only happens after the sale.

When does the first distribution come?

After the first sales of Cycle #1, organic eggs. We buy hens already at laying age, which lay within weeks, not months. The target is a first distribution within 90 days of the cycle closing its funding. It is a target, not a promise: it depends on when the birds arrive and when sales start.

What is a production cycle?

Each vertical is sold separately, with published CAPEX, a set term and 55% of that vertical's net profit going to the people who funded it. There are two: organic eggs (Cycle #1) and microgreens (Cycle #2). The Genesis Pass receives its 10% on top of every cycle, and buys the slots first and cheaper.

What if the lot does not close?

If the Seed Lot does not reach its 350-pass target by the announced date, the USDC raised goes back to the wallets it came from. The exact rule and the date are under legal review and will be published in the whitepaper.

Question 8

How do I pay and how do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

You pay in USDC with a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare or Ledger) or with a card and Apple Pay via Helio. Profit is paid in USDC to the same wallet that holds the pass.
